Space Market, Innovation & Investment Expert

About the role

NTU International is seeking a senior expert to support the Africa‑EU Space Partnership Programme. The role focuses on developing space and geospatial markets, fostering innovation and entrepreneurship, and enhancing investment readiness across African and European ecosystems.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market studies and analyses of space and geospatial sectors in Africa and the EU.
• Design and implement innovation instruments, incubation and acceleration programmes.
• Support commercialisation pathways and prepare companies for investment.
• Facilitate access to finance and connect stakeholders with potential investors.
• Provide advisory services on policy dialogue, institutional partnerships and knowledge exchange.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in economics, business administration, engineering, innovation management or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in market analysis, innovation, entrepreneurship, business development or investment advisory in technology sectors.
• At least 4 years of experience specifically in space or geospatial markets.
• Excellent command of English; working knowledge of French or Portuguese is an asset.
• Familiarity with African space markets and investment ecosystems is advantageous.
