Social Media and Content Marketing Officer

About the role

The Social Media and Content Marketing Officer plans, creates, manages and optimises all digital and social media marketing activities to build the company's online presence, strengthen brand visibility and increase customer engagement and sales. The role tells the Herbmadz brand story, promotes beverages and connects with customers across digital channels. It is a full-time position based in Kigali.

Key responsibilities

• Social media management: develop and run a social media strategy, manage daily posting and engagement, maintain a monthly calendar, respond to customer messages and analyse performance data
• Content creation: write captions, blog posts and product descriptions, and produce text, photos, videos, reels, stories and graphics with photographers, videographers and designers
• Digital campaigns: plan and run paid ads (Facebook, Instagram, Google Ads), support influencer collaborations, product launches and contests, and track ROI
• Analytics and reporting: monitor reach, engagement and conversion, and prepare weekly and monthly reports using Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics and Canva Insights
• Brand development: promote a positive brand image, follow digital trends and beverage marketing, and cover events such as tastings and exhibitions

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, Digital Media or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing or content creation; beverage or FMCG experience is an advantage
• Proven portfolio of creative social media work and campaigns
