SME Relationship Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced SME Relationship Manager to drive growth of our small‑and‑medium‑enterprise portfolio. The role focuses on acquiring profitable customers, managing existing relationships and ensuring compliance with banking regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage risk‑adjusted assets and deposits to maximise bank profitability.
• Identify target sectors, build a pipeline and actively market to acquire new SME customers.
• Maintain regular contact with key clients through visits and calls, ensuring a robust relationship program.
• Ensure full compliance with Know‑Your‑Customer (KYC) and Anti‑Money‑Laundering (AML) requirements.
• Identify cross‑selling opportunities and embed bank products into client needs.
• Monitor SME portfolio quality from origination through post‑disbursement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years experience in the financial sector, including at least 3 years in credit sales and credit analysis.
• Strong knowledge of lending, credit, and banking regulations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and leadership abilities.
• Result‑driven, business‑oriented attitude with solid customer‑service focus.
