Senior Data Analyst

About the role

Zipline is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to strengthen system health and performance monitoring within its Systems Engineering team. You will collaborate closely with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and system engineers to turn complex flight data into actionable insights that improve safety and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement analytics solutions such as monitoring dashboards, alerting tools, and ad‑hoc analyses for core flight reliability and safety metrics.
• Partner with System Engineers and other teams to track the health of hardware, software, and operational systems.
• Develop SQL and Python scripts to extract performance data from raw flight logs.
• Work autonomously with data scientists and analysts to create and maintain shared data models in the data warehouse.
• Support senior leadership by measuring and reporting key company metrics.

Required profile

• Proven experience in data analytics, especially monitoring real‑world hardware or operational data.
• Ability to communicate complex technical findings to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and comfort working in a fast‑growing, mission‑driven environment.
