Relationship Supervisor – Channels (Kirehe Branch)

About the role
The Relationship Supervisor – Channels will lead the digital and agent‑based channels at the Kirehe branch, driving sales of the bank’s digital products and ensuring high performance of agents, merchants and POS terminals.
Key responsibilities
- Sell the bank's digital products and onboard existing and new customers onto digital platforms.
- Achieve branch channel targets according to key performance indicators.
- Recruit agents, collect required documentation and approve processes at the branch level.
- Activate agents and continuously monitor their performance.
- Maintain an activity rate of at least 90% for agents, merchants, POS and PWE tills.
- Drive IMT, inter‑country, merchant POS and merchant PWE business growth at the branch.
- Promote adoption of new digital products within the branch.
- Formulate and execute innovative digital offerings aligned with business goals and customer experience.
- Manage product roadmaps and business cases for digital channel expansion.
- Monitor and manage card stock levels.
- Maintain key customer relationships through regular contacts and visits.
- Ensure compliance with KYC and AML requirements.
- Conduct market analysis and propose technology enhancements.
- Collaborate with head‑office teams to achieve the payment business strategy.
- Monitor channel performance, assess product impact and evaluate market competition in payments and financial services.
Required profile
- Business‑related degree from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 2 years experience in agency or merchant acquiring within the banking sector.
- Strong understanding of digital channels business and operations.
- Proven relationship‑management experience.
- Passion for technological innovation and awareness of global digital media trends.
- Analytical ability to interpret financial statements.
- Good knowledge of the banking industry, its rules and regulations.
- Sales and customer‑service expertise.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation and communication skills.
- Results‑driven attitude with strong interpersonal abilities.
