Product Manager, Digital Health Systems

About the role

The Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) is seeking a Product Manager to lead the development and scaling of digital health systems that support Rwanda’s Universal Health Coverage goals. This role will work closely with government partners, NGOs, and internal teams to design solutions that improve health financing, service delivery, and data-driven decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the product roadmap for digital health platforms aligned with Rwanda’s health sector strategy.
• Collaborate with government ministries, donors, and implementation partners to gather requirements and ensure alignment with national priorities.
• Lead cross‑functional teams including engineers, designers, and analysts to deliver product features on schedule.
• Monitor product performance, collect user feedback, and iterate to improve usability and impact.
• Support scaling of solutions across multiple regions while maintaining quality and sustainability.

Required profile

• Proven experience in product management, preferably in health or digital‑health environments.
• Strong understanding of health systems, financing mechanisms, and public‑sector partnerships.
• Experience working in low‑ and middle‑income country contexts, especially with government stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills in English and ability to work in multicultural teams.
