Procurement & Supply Chain Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Procurement & Supply Chain Coordinator to join our Rwanda team. The role ensures smooth procurement, distribution, and lifecycle management of tablets, headsets, cabinets and related accessories for Rising Academies’ AI‑Powered Tablet Pilot and other education programs.

Key responsibilities

• Procure tablets, headsets, cabinets and accessories in line with program needs.
• Manage customs clearance, warehousing and distribution of equipment to schools.
• Establish repair and replacement processes, headset hygiene protocols and waste‑management procedures.
• Maintain secure storage of assets and oversee maintenance activities.
• Provide regular updates to suppliers and internal stakeholders on inventory status and delivery timelines.

Required profile

• Proactive and detail‑oriented attitude.
• Experience in procurement and supply‑chain operations, preferably in an education or non‑profit context.
• Ability to coordinate with schools, suppliers and partners across Rwanda.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
