Procurement Store Intern – Rwanda

About the role

One Acre Fund is seeking a motivated Procurement Store Intern to support inventory and supply operations across multiple locations in Rwanda. This paid internship offers hands‑on experience in procurement, inventory quality control, and warehouse management within a mission‑driven agricultural organization.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in verifying quantity, quality, and specifications of goods received from suppliers.
• Support inspection processes and report damaged, expired, or non‑compliant items.
• Maintain accurate records of received and inspected inventory.
• Help with inventory management, stock verification, and physical stock counts.
• Organize, label, and store inventory following safety standards.
• Prepare inventory for dispatch, including packaging, documentation, and loading.
• Track outgoing deliveries and ensure shipment records are up‑to‑date.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic individual with a basic understanding of procurement and inventory processes.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
• Strong organizational skills and willingness to work in a warehouse environment.
