Procurement Store Intern

About the role

One Acre Fund is looking for a motivated Procurement Store Intern to support its inventory and supply operations in Rwanda. The intern will work closely with procurement, inventory, and logistics teams to ensure efficient handling of goods across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Support inventory quality control by verifying quantity, quality, and specifications of received goods.
• Assist with inspection processes and report damaged, expired, or non‑compliant items.
• Maintain accurate records of received and inspected inventory.
• Help with inventory management, stock verification, and routine physical counts.
• Record, reconcile, and investigate discrepancies between physical inventory and system records.
• Organize, label, and store inventory according to safety standards and maintain a clean warehouse environment.
• Prepare inventory for dispatch, including packaging, documentation, loading, and shipment coordination.
• Track outgoing deliveries and ensure shipment records are accurate.
• Collaborate with procurement, inventory, and logistics teams on day‑to‑day warehouse operations.

Required profile

• Interest in procurement and inventory management.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail.
• Willingness to work in a fast‑paced, mission‑driven environment.
