Marketing Specialist – Digital & Social Media

About the role

Ibiciro is seeking a Marketing Specialist to boost brand awareness, user growth and market presence for its platform. The role is full‑time, on‑site in Kigali and focuses on attracting farmers, traders, buyers and businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns across social media channels.
• Create and manage engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and WhatsApp.
• Identify target audiences, monitor campaign performance and optimise for user acquisition.
• Conduct market research to uncover new opportunities and customer trends.
• Collaborate with sales and product teams to align marketing initiatives with business goals.

Required profile

• Strong communication and creative content development abilities.
• Knowledge of digital marketing, social media advertising and online analytics.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative and collaborate in a team.
• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or equivalent practical experience.

Required skills

• Experience with social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, WhatsApp.
• Familiarity with tools such as Canva, Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager.
• Basic understanding of marketing analytics and campaign performance tracking.
