Marketing Officer – University Marketing Role

About the role

The Institut d'Enseignement Supérieur de Ruhengeri seeks a Marketing Officer to lead its marketing, branding and communication initiatives, enhancing the university’s visibility and reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement marketing, branding and communication strategies to raise the university’s visibility.
• Coordinate student recruitment campaigns, education fairs, exhibitions and outreach programmes.
• Manage the university website and official social media platforms, creating and disseminating relevant content.
• Design and produce promotional materials such as brochures, newsletters, posters and banners.
• Conduct market research and analyse trends to support strategic decisions.
• Maintain relationships with schools, partners, alumni, media houses and other stakeholders.
• Prepare periodic marketing, communication and branding performance reports for management.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Marketing, Marketing Management, Strategic Marketing or Digital Marketing (or equivalent).
• At least two years of proven professional experience in marketing, branding, digital marketing or institutional marketing.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute marketing strategies and promotional campaigns.
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
