Junior Training Support Expert

About the role

NTU International is looking for a Junior Training Support Expert to assist in the coordination, organisation, and implementation of training and capacity‑building activities for the EU‑funded project “Technical Assistance to ECOWAS in Transport Governance”. The role supports workshops, seminars and digital learning events across the ECOWAS region.

Key responsibilities

• Support the organisation and coordination of workshops, training sessions, seminars and learning events.
• Assist in preparing training materials, presentations, reports and workshop documentation.
• Handle logistical and administrative arrangements for training activities.
• Coordinate stakeholder communication, participant registration and event management.
• Collect, organise and manage training‑related data and documentation.
• Prepare meeting minutes, progress reports and monitoring tools.
• Support digital learning activities, online workshops and knowledge‑sharing platforms.
• Work with trainers, consultants, institutions and project stakeholders under senior supervision.
• Implement visibility and communication activities for training initiatives.
• Contribute to monitoring and reporting of capacity‑building outcomes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in education, public administration, social sciences, communications, transport, management or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in training support, project coordination, event management or administrative support.
• Experience with development cooperation or donor‑funded projects is an advantage.
• Experience working in developing countries or multicultural environments is a plus.
• At least 2 years of experience supporting workshops, training programmes or institutional learning initiatives.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital communication tools.
• Experience using online learning platforms.
• Familiarity with event coordination systems.
