Impact Storytelling and Outreach Manager for EdTech Project

About the role

The Impact Storytelling and Outreach Manager will join the Learning Science for Innovators (LSFI) team at CMU‑Africa to lead the creation and dissemination of compelling stories about education technology initiatives across Africa. Working closely with EdTech hubs, the manager will help showcase successes, promote learning tools, and support multimedia learning experiences for both internal and external audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead content development for the LSFI project website, social media channels, blogs, and other marketing materials.
• Collaborate with EdTech hubs to promote culturally relevant learning tools and produce evidence‑based reports for participants and funders.
• Manage promotion of events, meet‑ups, learning opportunities, and storytelling campaigns.
• Support CMU‑Africa and Pittsburgh campus teams in producing high‑quality multimedia and written learning experiences.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders to capture and share impact stories.

Required profile

• Passionate and experienced communicator with a background in storytelling, media production, or outreach.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience in the education or technology sector, preferably within an EdTech context.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
