HRIS Service Team Lead – Level 2/3 Support

About the role

We are looking for an experienced HRIS Service Team Lead to own complex issues and change requests within our HR information system. The role combines functional expertise with technical know‑how to support HR and business users in Kigali.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve Level 2 functional incidents escalated by Level 1 support.
• Analyze and configure HRIS enhancements requested by HR departments or business units.
• Perform configuration, parameter setup, and testing of HRIS modules after system changes or projects.
• Participate in integration of new functionalities or additional modules and manage APIs, ETL and data flows.
• Provide technical and functional support to HR teams and key users, including training and documentation.
• Conduct regular system audits, monitor technological developments, and recommend improvements.
• Administer user accounts, roles, access profiles and ensure compliance with data‑security policies.
• Collaborate with IT on interfaces between HRIS and payroll, time‑and‑attendance, and third‑party tools.
• Manage system updates, version upgrades and vendor coordination.

Required profile

• Confirmed experience in payroll and HR administration, including post‑payroll processes.
• Proven experience in Level 2/3 HRIS support or service centre environment.
• Strong understanding of integration challenges, system upgrades and data security.
• Excellent verbal communication and strong writing abilities.
