Global Procurement Senior Associate

About the role

The Global Procurement Senior Associate supports One Acre Fund’s procurement teams across three or more countries, ensuring they have the tools, expertise, and professionalism to deliver high‑quality goods and services on time, at the best price, and without fraud or loss. This senior role also owns key procurement processes that span all operating markets.

Key responsibilities

• Drive procurement execution excellence across markets, delivering cost‑competitive, high‑quality goods and services.
• Ensure strong operational performance of country procurement teams, including on‑time delivery, supplier performance, and payment efficiency.
• Lead initiatives to strengthen negotiation capability and value‑driven sourcing.
• Manage, coach, and develop country procurement leads, fostering compliance and customer service.
• Support recruitment, succession planning, and continuity within procurement teams.
• Promote a culture of compliance, internal controls, and ethical procurement practices.
• Mitigate supply and contract risks through proactive supplier management and monitoring.
• Contribute to procurement strategy development and lead cross‑market strategic sourcing initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading procurement teams in a multi‑country environment.
• Strong coaching and talent development skills.
• Deep understanding of procurement governance, risk management, and compliance.
• Ability to design and execute strategic sourcing and cost‑optimization initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
