FLR Data Coordinator (Fixed-Term)

About the role

One Acre Fund is seeking a detail‑oriented, coachable junior professional to join the data systems team for its Forest Landscape Restoration (FLR) program in Rwanda. The FLR Data Coordinator will support survey design, ensure data quality, and turn collected information into actionable insights that guide program decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design, testing, and deployment of survey tools in collaboration with program and field teams.
• Train field staff on data‑collection protocols and coordinate timelines to achieve timely data capture.
• Clean, validate, and manage datasets, resolving issues with field teams and improving data‑management systems.
• Analyze data, generate insights, prepare reports, and share findings to support data‑driven decision‑making.
• Act as a liaison between field and office teams on data matters, track follow‑ups, and maintain comprehensive documentation.

Required profile

• Junior professional with a strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Experience using survey tools for data collection.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse field and office teams.
• Good communication skills for training and reporting.
