Financial Analyst – CFO Office (Fixed‑Term)

About the role

One Acre Fund is seeking a Finance Analyst to support the Office of the Chief Financial Officer on a fixed‑term basis. The analyst will translate complex data into clear insights, drive strategic initiatives, and help shape Finance operations across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and deliver Finance Division communications, including decision announcements and priority rollouts.
• Maintain the communications calendar and coordinate inputs with department leads.
• Prepare high‑quality presentation decks, briefing notes, and data summaries for senior leadership.
• Coordinate the Finance Division’s governance calendar, support agenda development, and manage meeting logistics.
• Monitor progress against divisional priorities and OKRs, identifying risks and dependencies.
• Own and execute clearly defined projects from planning through delivery, aligning stakeholders and tracking milestones.
• Lead or contribute to cross‑functional, ad‑hoc projects and apply structured problem‑solving to ambiguous challenges.
• Conduct research, benchmarking, data synthesis, and financial analysis to support strategic decision‑making.
• Develop structured outputs such as financial models, scenario analyses, and frameworks.
• Provide flexible support during peak demand, staff transitions, or extended leave.

Required profile

• Proven experience in finance or related analytical roles.
• Strong ability to translate data into actionable insights for senior leaders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Project‑management experience with a track record of delivering on time.
• Detail‑oriented with the capacity to monitor multiple priorities simultaneously.
