About the role
As an Accounting Intern you will work with a global client base, gaining exposure to international accounting practices and Rwandan taxation. You will support day‑to‑day financial operations while developing core bookkeeping, payroll and reporting skills.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing and general ledger maintenance.
- Support preparation and filing of tax returns in compliance with local regulations.
- Build and maintain positive client relationships by handling inquiries and providing timely updates.
- Participate in training sessions and internal reviews to improve service quality.
- Help with billing, collections and customization of accounting services for specific client needs.
- Contribute to research, documentation and the development of best‑practice materials.
- Assist in preparing accurate financial reports and special project assignments.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Team‑oriented mindset with good communication and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
