Driver – Fixed-Term Position in Rwanda

About the role

One Acre Fund is seeking a professional driver for a fixed‑term position in Rwanda. The role involves transporting staff and delivering materials safely and on schedule while upholding the organisation’s high standards of safety and professionalism.

Key responsibilities

• Safely transport staff to meetings, field visits and other work‑related activities.
• Deliver materials, equipment and supplies to assigned locations on time.
• Plan and organise daily vehicle movements based on transport requests.
• Maintain the assigned vehicle – keep it clean, perform routine inspections and report any faults.
• Keep accurate vehicle logbooks, fuel and maintenance records and submit required documentation.
• Represent the organisation professionally when interacting with staff, partners and community members.
• Support other transport‑related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s licence.
• Minimum 3 years of professional driving experience in a fast‑paced environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to road safety and vehicle care.
• Reliable, punctual and able to communicate effectively with staff.
