Direct Transport Sales Representative

About the role

Maersk is looking for a Direct Transport Sales Representative to join its Kigali team. In this role you will be responsible for building and managing relationships with customers who need standardized logistics and transport solutions, driving revenue through shorter sales cycles.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships within an assigned customer portfolio, working closely with the local product organization.
• Create and execute account business plans for key customers, covering all logistics and services products.
• Identify and win new opportunities for OBL (Ocean, Bulk, Logistics) products through direct selling.
• Promote standardized products that match customer needs and ensure maximum asset utilization in collaboration with the Capacity and Campaign Manager.
• Monitor local Net Promoter Score (NPS) and lead initiatives to improve customer satisfaction.
• Provide regular feedback and market insights to the sales channel lead and other regional functions.

Required profile

• Dynamic, commercially‑oriented individual with a strong interest in logistics and transport.
• Proven ability to manage customer relationships and develop business plans.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, international environment.
