Credit Control Executive

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Credit Control Executive to join our Finance team in Kigali. The role focuses on managing credit accounts, ensuring timely collections, and supporting cash‑flow stability for the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Follow up with clients to secure prompt payment of outstanding invoices.
• Monitor customer accounts, identify overdue payments and initiate appropriate actions.
• Maintain accurate records of credit transactions and client communications.
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
• Communicate professionally with clients about payment terms, balances and collection status.
• Prepare regular reports on credit ageing, status and collections performance.
• Collaborate with sales and finance teams to ensure smooth credit processes.
• Support cash‑flow management and ensure compliance with internal credit policies.
• Handle customer queries related to billing and account statements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and account reconciliation.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
• High attention to detail, accuracy and ability to work independently.
• Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure.
