Country Director – Rwanda Savings Group Ministry

About the role

The Country Director for Rwanda will lead HOPE International’s Savings Group Ministry (SGM) in Kigali, ensuring sustainable growth, high impact, and faithful integration of Christian witness. Reporting to the Regional Director for East Africa, the role combines strategic leadership, partnership management, and program oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Set and achieve annual SGM goals within the approved budget, aligning with HOPE’s mission and vision.
• Ensure all Rwanda SGM operations follow HOPE’s SGM Operations Manual.
• Manage existing and develop new partnerships with churches and NGOs, overseeing MOUs and collaborative initiatives.
• Lead a team that includes a Spiritual Integration Coordinator, Trips and Events Facilitator, Operations Manager, and Finance & Administration Manager.
• Provide high‑level oversight, training, certification, and logistical support to program staff.
• Integrate spiritual development and Christian witness into all program activities.
