Construction Innovation Lead

About the role

Charis UAS is looking for a Construction Innovation Lead to become the face of its analytics platform in Rwanda. You will translate cutting‑edge drone and geospatial capabilities into measurable outcomes for public infrastructure clients, major contractors, and donor‑funded programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Build a qualified pipeline of construction monitoring opportunities across Rwanda’s infrastructure sector.
• Lead client meetings, deliver platform demonstrations and turn technical features into business cases for procurement, project directors and finance teams.
• Structure and close pilot engagements that evolve into long‑term recurring contracts, negotiating scope, pricing and success metrics.
• Work closely with the Charis delivery team to ensure early projects exceed client expectations, establishing a strong reputation.
• Develop relationships with professional bodies, regulators and procurement agencies to position Charis as the trusted local partner for digital construction.

Required profile

• Strong conviction that technology can fix gaps between reported progress and on‑site reality.
• Experience in construction or infrastructure projects, preferably with exposure to contractor‑reported progress and site verification.
• Ability to act as a senior liaison with chief project managers, directors and resident engineers.
• Willingness to grow from an individual contributor to a country‑level leadership role.
