Communication Analyst (Office based)

About the role

The Communications Analyst will support the planning and implementation of UN Women Rwanda’s communications and advocacy strategies. Reporting to the Country Representative, the role works closely with programme, operations, HQ, and external partners to raise the visibility of gender equality initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide substantive support to design external communication and outreach strategies, ensuring a gender perspective.
• Monitor and analyse print and social media, delivering insights to the Country Office and HQ.
• Coordinate media relations, maintain media lists, and organise press events and briefings.
• Develop and disseminate advocacy materials, briefing notes, press releases, and newsletters.
• Manage the Country Office’s website and social media accounts, ensuring timely content updates.
• Oversee videography, photography, and the Flickr repository for all UN Women initiatives.
