Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (On-site, Kigali)

About the role

We are looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our Kigali team. You will design, implement and maintain cloud‑based infrastructures while ensuring system stability and security.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain cloud infrastructures on platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud and system issues promptly.
• Administer both cloud and physical server environments.
• Optimize platforms for performance, efficiency and security.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure successful deployment and management of IT solutions.
• Support network security practices to protect organizational data.

Required profile

• Proven experience troubleshooting cloud infrastructure and system problems.
• Strong background in infrastructure design, deployment and maintenance.
• Solid system administration skills for cloud and on‑premise servers.
• Comprehensive networking knowledge, including configuration and optimization.
• Experience with network security measures for cloud environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administration, CompTIA Network+) are a plus.
