Camp Education Coordinator

About the role

The Camp Education Coordinator will lead World Vision Rwanda’s education‑in‑emergency programme, ensuring vulnerable children receive quality learning opportunities even in crisis settings. This fixed‑term position combines technical expertise, resource mobilisation and coordination across multiple stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support for needs identification, assessment and project design in education emergencies.
• Lead resource acquisition, write technical sections of proposals and ensure accurate costing in collaboration with finance teams.
• Develop sector‑specific technical approaches, implementation guidelines and tools, and coordinate programme delivery.
• Align project budgets with designs, monitor compliance with donor, government and education‑cluster standards.
• Maintain supply chains for educational materials, working closely with UNHCR and internal logistics.
• Implement quality‑assurance processes, conduct periodic monitoring and support the QA team in indicator development.

Required profile

• Proven experience in education‑in‑emergency programmes or similar humanitarian contexts.
• Strong technical writing and project design skills.
• Ability to coordinate multi‑stakeholder initiatives and align them with national and donor strategies.
• Knowledge of donor compliance, budgeting and monitoring frameworks.
