Business Development & Integration Manager

About the role

The Business Development & Integration Manager will lead the design, testing and rollout of marketing‑focused financial products for World Vision’s micro‑finance institution in Rwanda. Reporting to senior management, the role combines business development, product integration and communications to expand outreach to vulnerable children and families.

Key responsibilities

• Develop cost‑efficient marketing products and strategies tailored to target markets.
• Pilot‑test new loan and deposit products, analyse results and refine offerings.
• Create attractive naming, packaging and prospectuses for investors, donors and credit providers.
• Supervise awareness campaigns (newsletters, radio spots, posters, school competitions, press releases).
• Conduct customer‑satisfaction, competition and market surveys and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare annual marketing plans and budgets, reviewing them quarterly.
• Maintain liaison with World Vision regional and national offices and coordinate media releases.
• Develop promotional materials and improve corporate identity (logo, colours, etc.).
• Define and execute sales strategies, pursue new business opportunities and monitor competition.
• Ensure the micro‑finance institution reaches its target clients (poor women with dependent children) while safeguarding client protection policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in developing and marketing financial products, preferably within micro‑finance or non‑profit settings.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate pilot tests, market surveys and financial performance.
• Excellent communication abilities for supervising campaigns, preparing prospectuses and liaising with senior management.
• Knowledge of client protection principles and experience working with vulnerable populations.
