Aluminium Systems Technician

About the role

Sukkan Africa is seeking a full‑time Aluminium Systems Technician to join its on‑site team in the Gasabo District. You will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of aluminium systems used in construction and renovation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with aluminium systems.
• Perform routine maintenance, preventive maintenance, and repairs.
• Provide technical support to ensure systems operate efficiently.
• Train team members on proper handling, usage, and maintenance best practices.
• Collaborate with other technicians and project staff to resolve complex problems.

Required profile

• Proven ability to troubleshoot and deliver effective technical support.
• Experience in maintenance and repair of aluminium systems.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures.
• Capability to train colleagues on equipment usage and maintenance.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant certification or technical training in aluminium systems (preferred).
• Previous experience in building or construction finishing is an asset.
