AI Automation Developer

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on AI Automation Developer to build the next generation of digital workflows across mining, refining, trading, finance, procurement, HR, inventory, maintenance, laboratory and compliance operations in Rwanda. The position is practical‑focused, not a research‑only AI role, and will work at the intersection of Odoo ERP, Microsoft 365 and AI agents.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain AI‑enabled workflow automations for processes such as mining, refining, procurement, inventory, maintenance, HR, finance, laboratory and compliance.
• Develop integrations and automations around Odoo v18 Enterprise modules including Accounting, Inventory, Procurement, HR, Maintenance, Manufacturing and Quality.
• Create Microsoft 365‑based workflows using SharePoint, Teams, Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse and Copilot Studio.
• Build AI assistants and workflow agents that help staff search knowledge, generate reports and capture operational data.
• Integrate systems via APIs, scripts, scheduled jobs and low‑code/no‑code platforms while ensuring security, auditability and data‑governance.

Required profile

• Strong experience in process automation, workflow design and systems integration.
• Proven software development skills with Python, JavaScript, SQL and REST API implementation.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems, preferably Odoo, and Microsoft 365 collaboration tools.
