A'cademy Coordinator (Training Management)

About the role

Africa Global Logistics Rwanda Limited, based in the Kigali Special Economic Zone, is looking for an A'cademy Coordinator (M/F) to organise and manage training activities within the A'cademy. The role covers collecting training needs, planning and coordinating training deployments with project managers and trainers, and tracking progress through the LMS-TMS system. The position is permanent and based in East Africa, Rwanda.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and consolidate training needs expressed by relevant entities
• Define and plan training programmes and activities
• Select internal or external trainers and negotiate with training providers when necessary
• Plan and coordinate training sessions with the A'cademy team and the entities involved
• Maintain relationships with partners, including companies and public or private institutions
• Oversee administrative and budgetary aspects of training (trainers, service providers, contracts and agreements)
• Organise logistics for continuous training sessions with trainers and training managers
• Register and manage training programmes in the LMS-TMS system
• Communicate information on continuous training programmes and professional certification pathways
• Support project managers and trainers with travel arrangements

Required profile

• Strong understanding of training engineering, key stakeholders, applicable regulations and continuing education systems
• Knowledge of administrative and financial procedures related to training
• Ability to design and manage tracking tools
• Ability to write clear informational and communication documents
• Strong listening skills, adaptability and proactive attitude
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to resolve operational issues
• Strong organisation, attention to detail and a methodical approach
