Generator Technician

About the role

The Rwanda Social Security Board (RSSB) is looking for a skilled Generator Technician to ensure reliable operation of generator systems across its facilities, including the Vision City Complex. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will play a key part in maintaining uninterrupted power supply for critical operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on diesel generators.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to restore generator performance.
• Monitor generator performance and manage Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare technical reports documenting maintenance activities and system status.

Required profile

• Technical background with experience in diesel generators and power systems.
• Ability to work independently and follow detailed maintenance procedures.
• Strong attention to safety and quality standards.
