Construction Project Manager

About the role

The Construction Project Manager at Infinite Rwanda leads on‑site delivery of all company projects, ensuring safety, quality, and client satisfaction while upholding the brand’s reputation. The role requires meticulous leadership, rigorous organization, and proactive schedule and cost control from initiation to successful completion.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an integrated Project Management Plan (PMP) covering objectives, resources, methodologies, and timelines.
• Create, implement, and monitor project schedules, work breakdown structures, and delivery milestones.
• Control and analyze project costs, report variances, and apply corrective actions to protect profitability.
• Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques to measure performance, forecast cash flows, and anticipate resource needs.
• Lead client and stakeholder meetings, conduct quarterly satisfaction surveys, and manage change orders.
• Champion Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) initiatives and monitor LTIFR.
• Oversee quality management through Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), audits, and handover documentation.
• Identify risks, perform quantitative analyses, and track mitigation actions.
• Coordinate procurement, manage subcontractor performance, and enforce document control (RFIs, submittals, contracts).
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports on schedule progress, cost, and safety performance.
• Mentor project engineers, foremen, and supervisory staff while acting as a brand ambassador.
