Document Controller

About the role

The Document Controller will oversee the organization, management, and distribution of project documents, ensuring compliance with ISO standards. Working closely with project teams, you will support efficient document workflows and maintain accurate records throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, review, and distribute incoming project documents.
• Classify, index, and archive documents for easy retrieval and secure storage.
• Monitor revisions and enforce version control across all documentation.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to keep documents up‑to‑date.
• Manage document workflows in line with ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 standards.
• Prepare reports and summaries on document status and updates.
• Ensure documentation aligns with project timelines and quality requirements.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in document control within civil engineering or construction projects.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 standards and their application.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities.
• Effective communication skills for teamwork and stakeholder interaction.

Required skills

• Proficiency with document management software and systems.

• Knowledge of ISO 14001 environmental management standards.
