Accountant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to maintain accurate financial records, manage payables and receivables, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and general ledger accounts.
• Process payments, invoices, and expense claims in a timely manner.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
• Prepare tax computations and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
• Monitor cash flow and assist in treasury management.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and provide required documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and financial regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing, FMCG, or a corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting.
• Professional qualification is an added advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
