About the role
The Senior Associate will support CHAI’s Global Cancer Program, helping governments in low- and middle-income countries improve access to cancer prevention, early detection, diagnosis, treatment and palliative care. The role works within a multidisciplinary team to design, implement and scale evidence-based interventions across the cancer care continuum.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in developing and executing strategies to strengthen cancer diagnostic capacity and treatment access in LMICs.
- Collaborate with ministries of health, private sector partners and NGOs to align program activities with national cancer control plans.
- Support data collection, analysis and reporting to monitor program impact and inform scaling decisions.
- Contribute to the preparation of technical documents, policy briefs and grant proposals.
- Participate in stakeholder meetings, workshops and capacity-building sessions.
Required profile
- Advanced degree (Master’s or equivalent) in public health, epidemiology, health systems, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working on non-communicable disease programs, preferably cancer, in low-resource settings.
- Demonstrated ability to work with government agencies and international partners.
- Strong analytical and writing skills.
