Technical Advisor, Digital Health, Health Systems Strengthening

About the role

The Technical Advisor will support CHAI Rwanda’s Health System Strengthening program by working closely with government partners to accelerate progress toward universal health coverage. This role focuses on digital health solutions that improve the delivery of essential health services across primary care and community health levels.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with government ministries to design and implement national primary health‑care reforms.
• Lead the integration of digital health tools to increase health‑workforce availability and improve service delivery.
• Support the sustainable financing and prioritisation of essential health services.
• Provide technical guidance for improved health‑system management and data‑driven decision‑making.
• Contribute to the development of scalable, government‑led digital health strategies.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in digital health and health‑systems strengthening.
• Proven ability to work with government stakeholders in low‑ and middle‑income settings.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
