About the role
Raising The Village is seeking seven Project Assistants to support community‑driven projects in Nyabihu and Ngororero. You will work closely with partner villages, local government officials, and community groups to implement activities that increase household income and reduce extreme poverty.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct project design review meetings with partner villages and provide feedback to update designs and budgets.
- Co‑facilitate trainings on financial literacy, water and sanitation, agriculture, livestock management, and health outreach.
- Prepare and submit procurement lists, verify goods before distribution, and support logistics.
- Monitor project implementation, provide guidance to community groups, and ensure compliance.
- Identify risks, propose mitigation measures, and recommend improvements.
- Build and maintain relationships with cell‑level government officials and community leaders.
- Mobilize households for trainings and program activities, and assist in delivering methodology and M&E training.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years experience in project implementation, community development, or related fields.
- Ability to travel up to 90 % of the time and work in rural settings.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with government officials and community actors.
