Logistics Manager – Operations (Rwanda)

About the role

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Logistics Manager oversees all logistics functions for Partners In Health in Rwanda. The role ensures efficient, accountable, and transparent management of warehousing, inventory, assets, and fleet to support health programmes across multiple districts.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement fleet management plans that optimise cost, reliability and safety.
• Monitor vehicle utilisation, maintenance costs and recommend replacement or disposal actions.
• Maintain compliance with insurance, licensing and national vehicle regulations.
• Oversee warehousing and asset management processes, ensuring accurate storage and tracking of equipment.
• Manage inventory control systems to guarantee stock accuracy and timely distribution.
• Coordinate with district logistics teams to standardise procedures and align with organisational goals.
• Administer contracts related to fleet maintenance, fuel, and tracking systems.

Required profile

• Proven experience in logistics or supply‑chain management, preferably in a non‑profit or health‑care setting.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise logistics coordinators and district teams.
• Strong organisational and analytical skills with a focus on compliance and reporting.
