Logistics Manager

About the role

The Logistics Manager will lead all logistics operations for IMB across multiple districts in Rwanda, reporting to the Director of Operations. This role ensures efficient, accountable, and transparent management of warehousing, inventory, assets, and fleet to support health programs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement fleet management plans, monitor vehicle utilization, maintenance costs, and oversee disposal processes.
• Ensure all motor vehicles and motorcycles are insured, licensed, and compliant with national regulations.
• Establish and maintain warehousing and asset management systems, including inventory controls and asset tracking.
• Provide reliable transport and distribution support for all IMB programs.
• Offer technical leadership and operational oversight to district logistics and inventory teams, standardising processes and aligning them with strategic goals.
• Manage contracts related to fleet and logistics services, such as maintenance, fuel, and tracking systems.

Required profile

• Experience overseeing logistics operations in a multi‑site environment.
• Ability to lead district logistics and inventory teams under the direction of senior management.
• Strong understanding of fleet, warehousing, asset, and inventory management principles.
• Commitment to ensuring efficiency, accountability, and transparency in logistics functions.
