Swahili/Kiswahili Linguistic Tester (Remote) – Mac M-Series Required

About the role

Acclaro is looking for native Swahili/Kiswahili speakers with strong English comprehension to join its global linguistic community as Freelance Linguistic Testers. You will work remotely on AI‑generated and localized content for IT, software, and AI projects, ensuring linguistic quality and UI consistency.

Key responsibilities

• Perform Linguistic QA by reviewing and refining AI‑generated Swahili/Kiswahili content for natural flow and cultural accuracy.
• Conduct software and UI testing to spot layout issues, truncated text, and functional bugs in Swahili/Kiswahili interfaces.
• Document and report linguistic and technical errors clearly in English following provided testing guidelines.

Required profile

• Native‑level fluency in written and spoken Swahili/Kiswahili.
• Professional‑level English comprehension and written communication.
• Own a Mac computer equipped with an Apple Silicon M‑series chip (M1, M2, M3, M4 or newer).
• Strong cultural competency with modern Swahili idioms and regional nuances.
• Comfort navigating new software interfaces and adhering to detailed testing procedures.
• Reliable high‑speed internet connection and a dedicated remote workspace.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
