Operations Manager – Rwanda

About the role

The Operations Manager will own the day‑to‑day running and early expansion of GOGO’s swap network in Rwanda. Starting with a small field team and a few swap stations, the role will grow as the network scales, covering logistics, asset management, customer experience and field leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the rollout of the swap network across Rwanda, from site assessment to launch, ensuring stations meet GOGO standards.
• Oversee station set‑up, staffing, equipment, and operational readiness.
• Manage daily operations of all swap stations, delivering targets for swap volume, uptime, productivity and rider experience.
• Monitor battery availability, station capacity and resolve customer feedback promptly.
• Own the availability and condition of motorcycles and batteries, coordinating repairs with central teams.
• Supervise technicians, preventive maintenance, and field breakdown response.
• Control logistics, asset movement and stock levels, safeguarding cash and inventory.

Required profile

• Hands‑on leader with strong operational judgement.
• People‑leadership experience and ability to run multiple functions with limited support.
• Track record of scaling field operations in emerging markets.
