Customer Operations Associate (Rwanda)

About the role

We are looking for a Customer Operations Associate to join our Rwanda team. The role combines front‑line customer support, telesales and claims administration to ensure customers receive accurate information, timely assistance and a seamless experience with Turaco’s products.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls, explain technical product features and resolve customer inquiries about Turaco products and claims.
• Register new customers in the database, perform data‑entry tasks and maintain accurate records.
• Engage at least 100 customers daily to upsell or cross‑sell Turaco products, follow up on leads and achieve sales targets.
• Initiate, investigate and process insurance claims, communicating with customers, medical providers and internal teams.
• Review claim documentation, apply company policies, decide on approvals or settlements and detect potential fraud.
• Consistently meet or exceed Customer Operations metrics while delivering courteous service.

Required profile

• Strong verbal communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to handle high call volumes and meet daily sales quotas.
• Attention to detail for data entry and claim verification.
• Comfort working in a fast‑paced call‑center environment.
