About the role
We are looking for individuals to take part in a short‑term research study focused on voice assistants. Over the course of one week you will make a few phone calls to a voice‑assistant system, ask real‑life questions and provide feedback to help improve the technology.
Key responsibilities
- Make five phone calls to the voice‑assistant over approximately one week, each lasting 5‑15 minutes.
- Ask natural, unscripted questions covering topics such as health, work, education and everyday needs.
- Complete a brief feedback survey (about five minutes) after each call.
- Consent to recording and transcription of the calls for evaluation purposes.
Required profile
- At least 18 years old; a mix of ages, genders and locations is encouraged.
- Fluent in English and able to place phone calls independently.
- Preferably a feature‑phone user or a smartphone user with limited data access.
- Limited prior experience with voice assistants is a plus.

- Hourly contract for approximately 2‑3 hours of work over two weeks.
