Tour Consultant

About the role

Kingfisher Journeys is seeking a proactive Tour Consultant to manage the full life‑cycle of tours for foreign operators, retail clients, and group tours. You will design itineraries, handle bookings, and ensure an exceptional experience from pre‑tour planning through post‑tour feedback.

Key responsibilities

• Create and publish high‑quality tours on the company website and for partner agents.
• Design itineraries based on Rwanda tour experience, ensuring sustainability and value for money.
• Calculate accurate quotations, including platform commissions and charges.
• Manage supplier reservations, invoices, payments, and documentation.
• Communicate regularly with clients before, during, and after tours to provide support and gather feedback.
• Oversee online booking systems, handle changes, cancellations, and complaints.
• Coordinate guides, verify tour plans, and collect post‑tour reports and budgets.
• Maintain strong relationships with hotels, transport providers, activity suppliers, and national parks.

Required profile

• Proven experience planning and delivering tours in Rwanda.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and ensure timely, accurate delivery.
• Commitment to sustainability and continuous improvement.
