Technical Assistance Consultant for Smart Africa SPVs

About the role

The consultancy provides technical assistance to Smart Africa for converting flagship initiatives into bankable, commercially viable Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs). The consultant will act as a strategic partner, delivering feasibility studies, investment structuring and fundraising support.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility assessments and prepare bankability documentation for identified initiatives.
• Develop investment structures and lead resource mobilization efforts to secure public and private funding.
• Support financial close and capital disbursement processes.

Required profile

• Experience in transaction advisory, investment structuring, and fundraising for infrastructure or technology projects.
• Ability to work on a best‑efforts basis without being liable for third‑party investment decisions.
