About the role

The Technical Advisor, Clinical will work with the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) and the Government of Rwanda to support the Fifth Health Sector Strategic Plan (HSSP V) 2024–2029. The role focuses on improving maternal and newborn survival, family planning, and child nutrition by strengthening clinical systems and ensuring high‑quality care.

Key responsibilities

Partner with Rwanda's Ministry of Health to strengthen the foundations required for impact on maternal, newborn, and child health.
Support the implementation of the HSSP V targets, including reductions in maternal mortality, neonatal mortality, unmet need for family planning, and child stunting.
Contribute to the design and scaling of clinical interventions that align with CHAI’s mission to improve health systems in low‑ and middle‑income countries.
