About the role

The Technical Advisor, Artificial Intelligence (AI) Engineer will join the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) team supporting the Government of Rwanda’s efforts to achieve Universal Health Coverage. The role focuses on applying AI and digital health solutions to strengthen health systems and improve health outcomes across the country.

Key responsibilities

Provide technical advice on AI applications for health system strengthening.
Collaborate with government partners and CHAI teams to design and implement AI‑driven solutions.
Support data‑driven decision making and contribute to the development of AI models relevant to public health challenges.

Required profile

Experience working in global health or public sector environments.
Strong analytical mindset with a commitment to improving health outcomes.
