Software Engineer Annotator

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer Annotator to join our remote team. In this role you will evaluate, label, and improve software engineering datasets that are used to train AI models and large language models. Your programming expertise will help ensure that AI‑generated code meets high standards of correctness, efficiency, readability, and security.

Key responsibilities

• Annotate and review software engineering datasets for AI training purposes.
• Assess AI‑generated code for correctness, performance, readability, and security.
• Label data covering code completion, debugging, refactoring, and optimization tasks.
• Provide structured feedback to improve model performance and annotation guidelines.
• Collaborate with AI trainers, reviewers, and data engineering teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience with data annotation, AI training, or code review is a plus.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, and algorithms.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, or Go.
• Familiarity with APIs, backend systems, and web technologies.
• Ability to accurately annotate, label, and evaluate code datasets.
• Basic knowledge of artificial intelligence, machine learning, or large language models is advantageous.
