Software Development Manager

About the role

The Senior Developer / Technical Lead will drive the design, development and continuous improvement of enterprise applications, APIs and digital banking solutions. Acting as a technical leader, you will ensure adherence to architecture standards, mentor teams and serve as the escalation point for complex integration projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to developers, analysts and project teams.
• Review solution designs, enforce coding standards and conduct code reviews.
• Design, develop, test and maintain enterprise applications, micro‑services and integration APIs.
• Implement and support integrations between Finacle, digital channels, payment platforms, middleware and regulatory systems.
• Lead CI/CD implementation, release management and source‑code version control.
• Deliver Level 3 production support, root‑cause analysis and disaster‑recovery testing.
• Identify automation opportunities, evaluate emerging technologies and contribute to the bank’s technology roadmap.

Required profile

• Proven experience in software development and technical leadership within a banking or financial services environment.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, integration patterns and security best practices.
• Ability to mentor junior staff and communicate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
