Senior Construction Site Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Construction Site Manager to lead the execution of civil construction projects in Rwanda. The role involves overseeing all on‑site activities, ensuring they are carried out safely, on time and within budget while supporting the Project Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and control human and material resources on the construction site.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, quality standards and legal regulations.
• Monitor progress to guarantee execution within the defined timeframe.
• Drive the achievement and maximisation of economic objectives.
• Support the Project Manager in decision‑making and reporting.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• More than 15 years of professional experience in civil construction project management.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Results‑oriented planning mindset.
• Leadership and effective communication skills.
• Willingness to be mobile as required.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of SAP.
• Experience with AutoCAD.
• Competence in MS Project.
• Fluent English (mandatory).
